The Own the Vision campaign meetings are now complete. Included are a couple pictures from the Major Gifts meeting held at the Paul K. Scott Alumni Center at Rood House.
Construction and renovation takes great courage and involves considerable resources. Our conference provided a way for us to achieve a larger share of the original vision through balanced debt. With the improvements to this historic property now nearing completion, we have made great progress in that vision. We must continue to be faithful and use Godメs resources to do whatever is necessary to help build the Kingdom and to continue serving His people. At this time, that means accepting the responsibility of this debt, something we have already succeeded in accomplishing three years ago as we started our current campaign. Therefore, our church has launched the next Capital Stewardship Campaign entitled Own the Vision to aid us in preparing to do what only God can do. As we find success in this process, we will be freed to move forward and accomplish even greater steps toward the vision God shares with us.
How can you be part of such a phenomenal undertaking?
- Thank God for His Providence.
- Ask God how much He would have you give.
- Be obedient and give as the Lord leads.
- Be ready to receive the blessings that only God can give.
The physical changes to our church property are already quite dramatic. The impact of total accessibility is felt in worship services and fellowship opportunities. The safer environment of expanded parking serves both the church and community weekly in a broad range of programs. Ownership of most of the church's block provide for future plans.
